Code of conduct

Everyone deserves a tango experience grounded in consent, care, and mutual respect. Participation means helping protect that atmosphere.

Consent is ongoing

Invite and accept dances respectfully. Anyone may decline, pause, or end a dance at any time without explanation.

Choose an embrace that works for both partners. Do not pressure anyone into closeness, contact away from the floor, or unwanted conversation.

Use considerate floorcraft, enter safely, follow the line of dance, avoid hazardous movements, and adapt to crowded conditions.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and predatory behavior are not welcome. Concerns may be brought privately to an organizer.

If something feels unsafe, step away and ask the event team for support. Organizers may act to protect guests and the event.
